How It Works

How it works (only for Professional accounts):

– You set up your event or launch details in the Facebook Events Manager.
– You create a Reminder Ad campaign in the Facebook Ads Manager and select your event or launch as the creative.
– You choose your audience, budget, and schedule for your campaign.
– Users who see your ad can opt-in to receive reminders about your event or launch by tapping on the “Get Reminder” button.
– Users who opt-in will receive three notifications from Instagram: one day before, 15 minutes before, and at the exact time of your event or launch.
– Users who tap on the notifications will be directed to your event or launch page where they can take action.

Search Result Ads

Search Result Ads are another new ad product that Instagram is testing to help you reach people who are actively searching for businesses, products, or content related to yours.

For example, if someone searches for “fitness” on Instagram, they might see an ad for your fitness app or service in the search results feed.

Search Result Ads will show up in the feed that people can scroll when they tap into a post from search results. They will look similar to regular feed ads but will have a “Sponsored” label above them.

Instagram plans to launch this ad placement globally in the coming months. You will be able to create them using the same process as creating any other feed ad on Instagram.
